Classes

Our Kelvindale Dōjō is located in the Scout Hall, 66 Ripon Drive, Kelvindale, Glasgow. Sensei Graham McCann teaches classes for all ages and grades every Wednesday and Friday evening.

Monday (Stadium Building)

Junior Class : 6.00 pm ~ 6.45 pm (Primary 1 – Primary 3 aged students)

Junior Class : 6.45 pm ~ 7.45 pm (Primary 4 – Primary 7 aged students)

Senior Class : 7.45 pm ~ 9.00 pm (Adults and Secondary School aged students)

Thursday (Stadium Building)

Karate Tots : 1.00 pm. ~ 2.00 pm

Every Saturday morning, Sensei Bryan McCann and Sensei Graham McCann share the responsibility for teaching two classes in the Kelvindale Dōjō dedicated entirely to the practice of kata. The classes are open to all members of the Kugatsu Karate-Dō, irrespective of age or grade, who are interested in learning and practicing kata, and its application (bunkai). The kata classes are particularly beneficial for students preparing for their gradings and for those who are interested in taking part in kata competitions.

Junior Kata Class : 9.30 am ~ 11.00 am (Primary school aged students)

Senior Kata Class : 11.00 am ~ 12.30 pm(Adults and older children and young people)
