Bryan and Laura - SKGB Kata June 2009
Three members of the Kugatsu Karate-Dō took part in this year’s SKGB Scottish Kata Championships 2009 at Meadowbank. Sharon had a very unlucky draw (not for the first time!) in the Senior Female event being drawn against the All Styles Scottish Champion in the quarter finals of the Shito-ryu event and then the All Styles Bronze medallist in the reprecharge. Laura (in her first Scottish Championships) and Bryan both took bronze medals in the Shito-ryu event. Videos from the championship will be posted on the website soon.
